La propuesta se construye gracias a la adquisición de chollos. Resulta insólito todo lo que uno puede llegar a encontrar en una de las muchas subastas de acreedores; desde montañas rusas tasadas por su peso, hasta maquinaria industrial sin estrenar a un 20% de su valor de mercado. Múltiples listas de herramientas, máquinas y artilugios se compilan en un principio, con un mero fin documental, pero estratégicamente, pasan a ser elementos constructivos, entendiendo el ejercicio arquitectónico como amueblamiento a distintas escalas. Para adecuar estos elementos constructivos a sus nuevos usos, se experimenta con el cambio semántico: trozos de grúas (puentes), andamios (fachadas), neumáticos (mobiliario), carteles de carretera (soportes publicitarios-informativos), atracciones de feria (espacio de taller) , carrocerías (cerramientos), poleas industriales (mecanismos domóticos), tolvas (lucernarios).
